Darren Pike started with us in September 2005 as a Minister in Training. He leads our church whilst completing training at Bristol Baptist College. Before starting out on this path Darren worked as a Staff Nurse in Intensive Care and before that as an area coordinator and training Coordinator with South West Youth Ministries (SWYM). In the spare time that Darren has he loves spending time with steam trains, Exeter City Football Club but most of all his wife Melanie, his daughters Daisy & Molly and his son Thomas.  Darren says "OBC is a great group of people with a building desire to make a difference in the community - It is a church in the heart of the community with a heart for the community."

Hannah Freeland started with us in September 2006 after completing her training at the Centre for Youth Ministries based at Bristol Baptist Colege. She came to us from her placement church - Gorse Hill Baptist Church in Swindon. Hannah is married to Ian an assistant head teacher.Hannah has two degrees but she doesn't like puddings!!!   Hannah says "It is exciting being called to a post which is all about making a difference in the name of Jesus Christ."
